State Leadership
Bishop Mike & Stephanie Newcomb
State Administrative Bishop
At the 2024 General Assembly, Bishop Mike and Stephanie Newcomb were appointed to serve the New Mexico/El Paso and Southwest Indian Ministries Region of the Church of God. Mike and Stephanie were born and raised in Danville, Virginia. In the Summer of 2013, along with their two children, they left their home in Danville and moved to Louisiana to replant a church of only 12 members. In April 2019, after five blessed years of ministry in Louisiana, they accepted the lead Pastor position at Life Fellowship Church in Hurst, Texas. During their five-and-a-half-year tenure in Texas, they experienced great ministry success, growth, and the birth of new ministries within the local church body.
The Newcombs have experienced many successes throughout their ministry. Along with preaching and ministering across the United States, they have served the Church of God evangelizing across the southeastern US. During their tenure as pastors, many souls were added to the Kingdom, filled with the Holy Spirit, and lives were inspired to fulfill the call of the Great Commission.
Bishop Newcomb has been elected to serve on the State Council (2020 - 2024) and the State Youth & Discipleship Board (2014 - 2018) for the Texas and Louisiana State Executive Offices. At the 2024 General Assembly, Bishop Newcomb was appointed to the Board of Directors for Men & Women of Action. He also serves on the Board of Directors as Treasurer for God’s Pit Crew.
